We are excited to announce the Redwoods and Northern California Photography Workshop.
Everyone’s nature photography bucket list should include the Redwoods. It is a humbling experience to be in the presence of, photograph and place your hands on a tree that was here more than 2,000 years ago. We will be spending 3 1/2 days exploring in and around these magnificent monarchs of the living world. We will be based out of Crescent City in Northern California. We will head in all directions from there from the redwood groves at sunrise, and beaches at sunset, to deep shaded fern valleys. We will photograph tidal pools, flowers and maybe even a waterfall and an elk or two. We will pause on some afternoons for an image processing and critique break. Over the course of the workshop you will be able to see your work evolve.
We think this will be a rewarding experience in many ways for all who attend.
We will meet on Wednesday May 30th at 6pm for orientation and check in. Dinner all together afterwards is optional and there my be a late evening shoot. Beginning early Thursday morning, we will head out on this fascinating journey of creative exploration . We will wrap up Sunday June 3rd at noon, so participants can make their flights home.

Cancellations prior to 30 days before the workshop are subject to a 10% cancellation fee or $25 whichever is greater. No refunds 30 days or less from the workshop date.
Most locations will be near to our vehicles but some locations may involve some hiking (usually a mile or less). We will send you our hotel recommendations once you have registered. You may use our recommendations or you are free to choose your own place to stay. * Note, Airfare food and accommodations are not included in the price of the workshop.
