Byron Jorjorian has been interested in the natural world for as long as he can remember. He grew up in rural Mississippi with cages of snakes, frogs, and lizards under his bed. His artistic side showed itself at an early age with sketches, drawings and paintings centered around nature. But at age 19, the journey began when he purchased a small camera. His love of nature, art and being true to one's self has been the thing that has driven him to be a truly remarkable photographer. He continually tries to explore and discover new ways of capturing images. With over 400,000 images to his name, having over 12,000 images published worldwide (National Geographic, Audubon Field Guides, Smithsonian Books, etc.), and having 22,000 fine art prints installed across the nation, Byron strives to share the vision of his journey with others. He was also featured in the book The Best of Nature Photography - Images and Techniques from the Pros and has been named one of the top 40 Nature Photographers worldwide.
